Angels and Muse warmly invites you to the final presentation of our residents, Dr. Angela Wellman and Ashara Ekundayo. On Wednesday, the 27th of August, 2025, the pair will share highlights from the last four weeks of their collaborative Archive Research Residency with Angels and Muse in a presentation titled “Myriad Blues: Musings on a Blues People.”
Their project engages Black cultural memory through indigo blues and the Blues, emphasizing the continuity of cultural codes across the Diaspora.
The presentation will include photography, song, and readings (re)membering the intersections between visual and musical archives from Nigeria to the U. S. and back.
