Exploring connections between West African and African American culture and spirituality through assemblage and lens-based media, Artemus Jenkins has been selected to participate in the Lagos exchange program, during which he will research the concepts and aesthetics of protection and defense, .
Jenkins is also invited to produce an exhibition corresponding with the ARTXLagos period.
