Aisha Aliyu-Bima is a curator, photographer, writer, and the Director of Arts at the African School of Economics in Abuja. Her work focuses on Northern Nigerian and Sahelian contemporary arts, exploring themes of language, conflict, material, and reparations.

Her research during her residency focused on the exploration of aesthetics in northern Nigerian arts, with a focus on the Kaduna durbar at Festac ‘77.
