You are invited to join us this Saturday at Angels and Muse for ‘The Social Life of Materials,’ a presentation by Nigerian inter-disciplinary artist Victoria-Idongesit Udondian to close out her weeklong residency.
During her stay, she conducted research and collected materials for her ongoing project entitled ‘The Last Supper.’ The project interrogates Africa’s colonial history and its evolving relationship with China in a post-colonial context.
For this presentation, Udondian, who is also an exhibiting artist at the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, takes us on a journey through her artistic practice, exploring the research, processes, and collaborations that shape her interdisciplinary work.
The session is free to attend but spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Register Here
