Angels and Muse is pleased to invite applications for a five-day physical curatorial intensive workshop in Benin City, Nigeria.
Hosted with support from Gwaertler Stiftung, the intensive will convene curators, researchers, and cultural workers interested in rethinking curatorial practice through questions of heritage, marginality, displacement, memory, and regional knowledge systems.
The programme responds to the imbalance within overriding narratives of contemporary African art, where metropolitan centres often overshadow the histories, practices, and cultural infrastructures of marginal regions and communities.
