Akumbu Uche is a Nigerian writer and editor. Her work has been published by Brittle Paper, The Cincinnati Review, Engaging Borders Africa, Geek Afrique, Ibua Journal, Konya Shamsrumi, The Lagos Review, Nowhere Magazine, Open Letters Review, and Sprinng, among others.

She worked as a Publications Manager for the Library of Africa and the African Diaspora, and has served as a judge for several writing competitions such as the 2023 Genti Media Pidgin English Story Competition and the 2023 Atipo Book Review Prize. She also curates Adiba Creatives, a semimonthly newsletter featuring opportunities for African creatives and cultural workers.
