A contemporary photographer and textile artist thoughtfully engaging identity and narratives imbued in fiber materials and processes, Myra Greene will have the opportunity to explore traditional and contemporary West African dying, weaving, and fabric production with residency mentor, Nike Davies-Okundaye, as well as participate in self-directed study, including structured visits to archives and cultural heritage sites of relevance.
Greene will also produce an exhibition corresponding with the ARTXLagos period.
